| Description: The
Upland Chorus Frog ranges in size from 0.5-1.5 inches. Coloration is
usually brown to tan with variable mottling. A light line runs along
the upper lip and a dark line runs from the snout through the eye and down
towards the groin area.
Habitat: Usually found in temporary pools in grasslands, roadside ditches, wetlands and forests. Behavior: The voice of the Upland Chorus Frog is a 'creeeeekkkk', resembling the sound of a finger running along a single-row comb. |
