Description:  The Southern Two-lined Salamander ranges in size from 2.5-3.5 inches.  Coloration is yellow with two dark lines running down each side of the back.  The area between the dark stripes is usually lighter than the sides.

Habitat:  Found in wet areas such as streams, brooks, ditches, springs and seeps.

Behavior:
