The Multicolored Asian Lady Beetle is found throughout most of North America.  Introduced to North America both on purpose and accidently, it became established in the southeast US in the early 1980's.  The Asian lady beetle has a tendency to overwinter in manmade structures in large numbers and is considered an invasive pest.  This beetle may on occasion bite.
