| The False Potato Beetle is just over 1/2 inch in size. It is found throughout North America. The False Potato Beetle can be told from the Colorado Potato Beetle, a serious pest insect, by the black spot on the femur and the even rows of punctures in the elytra (wing coverings). The Colorado Potato Beetle has uneven punctures. |
