| Description: The
Cave Salamander ranges in size from 4.0-6.0 inches. Coloration is
bright red to orange (occasionally yellowish) with black speckles.
Habitat: Found in rock crevices, rocky streams and caves or surrounding areas. Behavior: These salamanders are excellent climbers with the ability to use their tail to hang on to outcroppings. |
